EPAA Call to Artists and Photographers and 2017 Calendar

We are announcing three new shows on our Call to Artists page:  My America, International Eye of the Camera (including Soldier Art Workshop), and  3 Friends (watercolor, pastel, and plein air).   The prospectus and online entry forms are up and ready for you to submit your work!

Are you ready for IEOTC?

IEOTC, as we affectionately call the juried photography show International Eye of the Camera, will be hosted jointly by the EPAA and the International Museum of Art and will be on display AT THE MUSEUM.  The opening is Sunday, August 7, 2016 from 2-4 @ 1211 Montana, El Paso. 

The EPAA is collaborating with the Museum to host the International Eye of the Camera's Regional Juried Photography Exhibit 2016.   The show will be judged by  photographer Joel Salcido and jurors will be Brian Wancho and Monica Lozano, and it will run through August 31st.   

Photographers:  Download Prospectus and Pay entry fee.   Deadline for submitting prospectus is July 3, and winners will be notified by July 16.  

 Joel Salcido is a highly accomplished photographer, whether fine art, commercial or editorial imagery. He will bring to the judging a keen eye and a worldly vision. Please visit Joel's website to view his remarkable imagery.  

Juror Brian Wancho is a lifelong El Paso resident who works as an architectural photographer throughout the country. He also enjoys capturing the beauty in the region's geography and architecture and maintains a library of El Paso photography. You can check out his work at GECU on Mesa & Doniphan.

Juror Monica Lozano is a Mexican American photographer born in El Paso, Texas and raised across the border in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Lozano received her Masters Degree in Photography from Escuela Universitaria de Artes y Espectaculos TAI in Madrid Spain. Her work has been selected for various international photo competitions and grants.
