The El Paso Art Association including ARTJunction studios, Crossland Gallery, lending library and office space.

THE EL PASO ART ASSOCIATION has opened its memberships to include all artistic, visual disciplines. We firmly believe that artistic diversity and individual participation is the key to our success.

THE EPAA was founded in 1950, by a small group of area artists dedicated to promoting excellence in the visual arts in El Paso and the surrounding area by means of art classes, exhibitions, lectures and workshops. The EPAA is also dedicated to elevating art appreciation in the community by all means possible. EPAA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, incorporated organization and is the oldest, largest, and most influential affiliation of artists and art patrons in the Southwest. View our bylaws.

The Art Association is a thriving non-profit arts organization composed of artists from a wide variety of artistic disciplines as well as patrons of the arts. Membership is open to all artists at all levels of proficiency and all age groups, races, and artistic expression.

In 2001, EPAA established its first permanent location at 500 W. Paisano, El Paso, 79901.   In this building, we are able to hold regular monthly meetings, board meetings, workshops by nationally acclaimed instructors, demonstrations and lectures.  The first floor Crossland Gallery shows regular monthly exhibits of member’s work. The ARTJunction, upstairs features spacious quarters for 34 working artists at very reasonable rates. We are officially part of the revitalization effort in downtown El Paso.

Membership in the association is open to all artists at all levels of proficiency, as well as to persons interested in the promotion of art. EPAA has grown to over 300 members representing all age groups and incomes, races, levels of education and artistic expression.

We have many visions for the future of our organization. Only the restraints of time, money, and volunteers can delay us from the achievement of our many goals. We are actively seeking new members, and invite interested persons to visit our our Membership page or call 915.534.7377 for information about joining the El Paso Art Association
