Artist Biography : Born in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, Lillian studied at University of Ciudad Juarez, and graduated in Interior design, where she started painting. Now she lives in El Paso, TX and passes most of her time painting and creating art. She considers herself a Folk-Art Artist and she has focused most of her art on nature and Hispanic culture. She loves to explore her Mexican culture, where Lillian finds her inspiration to paint the brilliant colors and all the folklore she includes in her art. She wants people to feel happiness in every one of her artworks. She has been invited to display her art in local galleries and other venues. Her art has also been published in art books and web magazines.

Artist Inspiration : A woman protecting her fellow beings is what inspired me to create this piece. In these moments of continuous bad news, I feel the weight on my shoulders to take care of my family and protect my fellow beings day and night.
