Artist Statement : I was born in Ciudad Juarez and I studied art at UTB in South Texas. My primary medium is acrylic on canvas, but I also do pencil and charcoal drawings. I paint landscapes, florals, wildlife and portraits representing the Raramuri Indigenous Tarahumara from Mexico.

Artist Inspiration : The art image represents current events of COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting positive outcomes in the midst of difficult circumstances. The valuable work of farmers, medical personnel, the restoration of our planet Earth and Wildlife freely roaming the planet while mankind remain in lockdown, as well the recovery of the ozone layer.
