“Be Proud of Your Past and Embrace the Future”

VIRTUAL OPENING : WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2020

The rich Hispanic culture originating from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America is vibrant and alive with music, food, fashion. This is just a small sample of the contributions’ and uniqueness’ of the Hispanic culture that is embraced by so many of us here in the borderland and around the world. We come to celebrate each year visually and virtually through art!

This FREE virtual art exhibit is open to EPAA Members & Non Members. Artists may submit 1-3 pieces through the on-line entry form. The exhibit gallery will be available for viewing on the EPAA Website and Facebook page. Also, EPCC Diversity Facebook page.

The El Paso Art Association in collaboration with the El Paso Community College Diversity and Inclusions Programs is opening a call to artists that celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month 2020 through artwork and creativity. The theme this year is “Be Proud of Your Past and Embrace the Future”

“WHAT’S GOING ON” is a live virtual art, video, performance and music event that will be hosted by the El Paso Art Association and Guiness World Record Award Winning Music Producer Brandon Bailey Johnson

The El Paso Art Association is happy to embrace diversity and the many social issues affecting our society. “What’s Going On” will bring together artists, photographers, musicians, poets, performers, to reflect on the sign of our times, including the impact of COVID-19, BLM, racial injustice, EP Strong tragedy, EP Pride.
